Regenerative Land & Water Systems for a Changing Climate

Growing To Give designs and deploys nature-based land and water systems that restore ecosystems, strengthen climate resilience, and support long-term food security on public and community lands.

We focus on practical, scalable infrastructure—such as regenerative land design, water-holding landscapes, and root-zone growing systems—that help communities grow food, rebuild soil, and steward land more effectively.

By improving ecological function and increasing local food access, our work delivers measurable public benefit across urban, rural, and climate-stressed regions.

Explore our four focus areas below.

Climate-Ready Infrastructure That Scales

Our projects are designed as long-lived, nature-based systems that hold water on the land, rebuild soil, restore biodiversity, and strengthen community resilience. We prioritize solutions that can be replicated across regions including island nations using existing land and water allocations.

Our Focus Areas

Imagine a World

Imagine a world where community gardens and urban farms thrive—nourishing neighborhoods with fresh, sustainable food—and where those growers have practical, affordable systems that keep producing year after year. That’s what we’re building at Growing To Give: food security rooted in resilient land and water solutions.

Agriculture is more than survival for people in need. It’s a source of pride and purpose—a way to connect with the land and with each other. It’s a means to grow, give, learn skills, and contribute to the common good. By expanding access to water-smart growing systems and regenerative design, we work to reduce hunger and strengthen resilient communities across America and around the world.

Our Vision

We envision a world where land and water are restored through practical, scalable systems that regenerate soil, support biodiversity, and strengthen the health of ecosystems—benefiting everything that lives above and below the ground while improving food security and human wellbeing.

We work at the systems level—restoring land and water so food, health, and community resilience can emerge naturally.

Our Mission

Our mission is to design and deploy regenerative land and water systems that help communities steward their landscapes more effectively—restoring ecological function, improving soil and water resilience, and enabling reliable local food production in marginalized and climate-vulnerable regions.

Help Us Help Others

Support our work in the way that feels right to you—by helping us restore land and water systems, expand food access, and care for people when they need it most.

Make a Donation

Your gift helps build practical, long-lasting solutions—from water-smart growing systems to community care programs—that create real impact on the ground.

Choose the level that matches the impact you want to create.

Twenty-Five Dollars Plants Seeds of Possibility

Your $25 donation helps us source, preserve, and distribute regionally resilient food crops for community gardens and restoration projects. From heat-tolerant and drought-adapted varieties to culturally significant heirlooms, these seeds support long-term food security wherever our systems are deployed.

What your gift does:

Sources and preserves climate-resilient food crops.

Supports rapid response when new gardens or recovery projects are launched.

Fifty Dollars Gets to the Root of the Problem

Your $50 donation helps build and deploy Root Tubes—the foundation of our get-one / give-one program. Root Tubes deliver water and nutrients directly to the root zone, dramatically reducing waste while improving plant survival, soil health, and long-term productivity.

For every Root Tube placed into use, another is deployed in a community or landscape where water efficiency and food access matter most.

What your gift does:

Builds and deploys Root Tubes.

Supports get-one / give-one installations.

Reduces water use while increasing growing success.

One Hundred Dollars Builds Lasting Systems

Your $100 donation supports the deployment of complete, water-smart growing systems within regenerative land and water projects. This includes Root Tubes, irrigation components, and structural supports—such as Tomato Volcanoes—used where appropriate to maximize productivity, accessibility, and durability.

These systems are designed to last for decades, helping communities grow food reliably with fewer resources and greater resilience.

What your gift does:

Supports complete water-efficient growing systems.

Funds durable infrastructure used in community gardens.

Expands long-term food security capacity.

All donations directly support programs and services for people in need. Growing To Give is a registered nonprofit organization.
