Inspired By Love: The Blooms of Resilience collection from Bold & Bloom was inspired by the company's previous participation in the Cancer Bites gift guide and Linsday Gann’s—designer and owner—personal story with cancer. Her father passed away in 2016 due to colon cancer and her stepchildren lost their mother to stomach cancer the year after. The family is also currently waiting to hear back on the results of a breast cancer biopsy. It just goes to show how decimating cancer can be to any family. Lindsay Gann turns to art in order to process her losses and she hopes that the art will connect to others and give a sense of hope.

Crew Review: TBlooms of Resilience Collection. Exclusively for Cancer Bites. This one genuinely blew my mind. When Lindsey Gann of L Gann Designs sent over the ‘Italian-inspired’ images for the Blooms of Resilience Collection, I almost dropped my phone. Not in a cute, metaphorical way. In a very real, oh-my-god-what-is-happening way. The colors. The craftsmanship. The intention. It was already enough to stop me in my tracks.

Then she casually mentioned that 50 percent of every sale would be donated to the Cancer Bites initiative.

Let me rewind for a moment, because this generosity didn’t come out of nowhere. Just the month before, Lindsey surprised Stacey and me by creating a single, exclusive earring for Cancer Bites. A stunning pink piece that felt symbolic, powerful, and deeply thoughtful. That alone would have been extraordinary.

But Lindsey didn’t stop there.

She upgraded that gift into an entire jewelry collection, designed exclusively for Cancer Bites. Not just earrings, but necklaces and bracelets, thoughtfully created in pink and the signature purple of our logo. Jewelry that carries meaning, not just beauty.

A few weeks in, he told me he was a cancer survivor and that he would understand if I walked away, but I believed the cancer was behind him. Just two days later, he passed away from osteosarcoma (bone cancer) at only 40 years old. Ten years later, I miss him every day. He was my husband, my best friend, my Superman and Dutch’s daddy, our chocolate lab and his dream dog.

Crew Review: When nausea shows up uninvited, this is something worth reaching for. Cancer and nausea tend to travel together. Everyone knows that. What people don’t always talk about is how nausea feels less like an upset stomach and more like standing at the edge of a mountain you didn’t plan to climb.
